How would you describe yourself?
I was a project designer in the scrapbook/paper crating industry for over 10 years. I am a strong designer and love to play with new products and techniques. I have also been published in several magazines and taught at several scrapbook conventions. I also love to travel.

Tell us a little about your family.
I have 2 grown children-my son has MD and is in a wheelchair and I am his main caretaker so crafting gives me something else to focus on. I am married and also have 2 fur babies.

Who designed your blog?
I did.

How did you come up with your blog name?
I am originally from Hawaii and hapa usually means half Asian in Hawaiian.

When did you begin to craft?
Most of my life.

Do you sell your crafts?
Working to sell handwritten prints on Etsy.

How do you find new projects?
I personally know and follow many people I met in the industry and I also imagine many things in my head.

What has been your sweetest success story?
Projects on packaging sold on QVC.

How do you prioritize time with your family, projects and your blog?
I make sure to include a small amount of creative time each day just because it helps me focus on something other than struggles with caring for my son.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I am trying to do more freelance graphic design and hope to have successful Etsy shop.

What has been your favorite project?
Hand stamped pillows from stamps I designed

Have you ever taken classes to learn your craft?
If so, where? Yes, majored in Art in college and have taken local classes

Who are some of your favorite craft bloggers that inspire you?
Heidi Swapp, Wilna Furstenberg, Ali Edwards
